POSITION SUMMARY: This position will lead operational excellence within company's Thomasville, NC; manufacturing location, driving superior performance in: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, Cost, Inventory Management and Capital / Capacity Utilization. The position will coach and develop Operations talent, mentor project teams and ensure linkage of corporate objectives to manufacturing activities. Critical to this function are the planning and managing of budgets and coordination of facility initiatives.  The position also ensures customer expectations are consistently met, delivery and quality targets are hit, and resources are utilized to provide a globally cost-competitive product. This position reports directly to the VP of Operations. PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Directs the activities of the plant in Thomasville, NC Develops and implements strategic and operational initiatives that support the company's long range plan and annual objectives Drives overall operational excellence through the application of Lean practices and processes Builds capabilities, tools and processes to analyze and deliver globally cost competitive products, including evaluation of make vs. buy decisions Owns and deploys the culture of financial compliance and controls in alignment with the company's overall requirements and principles Evaluates key performance indicators and drive excellence in: Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Investment Creates a strong operations talent base; partners with Human Resources to build talent management plans in support of long-range strategies and succession Drives a culture focused on customers, people and teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement and innovation Able to travel 20%+ Performs other duties as required ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: Bachelor Degree Minimum 10 years of progressive operational and managerial experience in a manufacturing environment Superior planning and analytical capabilities, and included demonstrate problem solving abilities Management of performance metrics and accountability for results Committed in developing and coaching employees PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: Bachelor Science in Engineering MBA or Master's Degree Advanced Lean Manufacturing certification Metal working process knowledge or Consumer Goods

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
