Application Testing Analyst III

Job Description Old Dominion Freight Line is recruiting for an Application Testing Analyst III.  This role will lead the Application Testing team with assessing the quality of software applications within the ODFL application suite. Lead the testing and implementation process by acting as an expert and guiding the Application Testing Analysts. Assists the test automation engineers in the creation of and the addition to the Regression Test Case Suite. Responsibilities Lead the business analysts and application testing analysts in performing functional testing to ensure application works according to specifications when needed  Identify test cases that are candidates for automated test scripts based on defined criteria and assist Automation Engineers with troubleshooting any issues encountered  Collaborate with business analysts to identify acceptance criteria and user stories for each release  Identify candidates for smoke tests to allow a quick health-check for the application  Coordinate and perform disaster recovery testing to ensure application can gracefully recover from an extended outage Coordinate and perform usability testing to ensure application meets established UI/UX standards and provides an intuitive experience for the end-user  Perform post-implementation testing in conjunction with each application release  Work with end-users to identify and address application issues in production  Provide practical advice based on experience to Application Testing Analysts  Coordinate and guide Application Testing Analysts across various projects  Create, review, update and enforce needed or existing testing processes and procedures  Create necessary reports showing key metrics from projects within responsibility  Comply with established standards and procedures for providing software quality assurance  Provide technical assistance and guidance to the application testing analyst Qualifications Education: Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and experience Experience:  5 years of experience as a software tester writing and executing test scripts Working knowledge of automated software testing  Working knowledge of browser-based computer software  Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Strong interpersonal skills  Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities  Ability to work as a team player Detail oriented, problem solver   Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field  Experience with Quality Center, ALM or similar testing tools Experience with agile software development 2018-9052

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
