R&D Analytical Intern

Position Summary:
Work under the direction Analytical and Product Chemists to assay raw materials, investigate failures and complaints, and develop analytical methods. The ideal candidate will be able to execute current analytical methods accurately and reproducibly, as well as assist in developing new methods. The ideal candidate will be able to clearly communicate results and findings and participate in data analysis. This paid internship is 1st shift, 8:00am - 5:00pm, and runs from mid-May to mid-August.

Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry Or Chemical Engineering major or similar
Completion of Analytical Lab and Organic Lab.
Experience with HPLC, GC, FTIR, TGA, DSC, DMA, SEM, viscometers, polymer synthesis, and/or titrations a plus.
Local candidates preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
