The HRBP manages, counsels and executes applicable human resources strategies, programs and initiatives for the Thomasville, NC furniture manufacturing plant.
Initiatives will include employee engagement, talent acquisition, communications, performance management, employee relations, employee events, compliance and policy interpretation.
This role will participate in project management and coordination with the Kravet HR team.
This position will partner with all levels of management to continue growing a diverse thought process and talent pipeline that helps to deliver business results.
Key
Responsibilities:
Provide HR support by working closely with senior management of the plant to align the Kravet HR strategies with the overall business objectives of Tomlinson.
Assist in the development and implement and monitor HR policies and practices.
Talent Acquisition:
Assist in the development and implement talent acquisition strategies to support the organization's workforce requirements.
This includes identifying the right talent, developing compensation and hiring strategies and creating retention programs.
Employee Engagement & Retention:
Develop and execute employee engagement and retention strategies.
This may include conducting employee surveys, establishing employee recognition programs and providing training and development programs.
Employee Relations:
Resolve employee relations issues through effective communication, counseling, and problem-solving techniques.
Manage the employee grievance process and assist line managers with disciplinary and termination procedures.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and statutory requirements related to HR practice.
Create and maintain HR records, reports, and documentation.
Partner with the HR team across Kravet to ensure consistency of procedures.
Organizational Development:
Work closely with senior management to identify and develop organizational structure, plan and implement employee development programs, and identify training and development needs.

Demonstrated capacity to skillfully communicate with all levels of employees, influence outcomes, and establish credibility as a skilled HR business partner.
Proven track record of proactive strategic thinking, delivery and sense of urgency in a collaborative environment.
A demonstrated record of implementing customized solutions, interventions and strategies to improve organizational results is required.
Very strong business acumen and a proven track record of setting and executing HR and business objectives preferred.
Experience/Certifications/Education:
BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business or similar.
3 - 5 years of progressive, hands-on HR experience in all HR functions (staffing & recruiting, compensation & benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and legislation and compliance issues) in a manufacturing environment.
Experience that illustrates the ability to manage multiple employment matters simultaneously.
Computer software knowledge required, including Google Suite and ADP.
HRCI / SHRM certification a plus.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
