The Manager of Customer Development, Amazon is responsible and accountable for working with business units, Amazon, creative teams as well as digital merchandising/media and agency partners.
This role will have direct responsibility for Kids UW business (under the supervision of the Senior Manager), and will support the Senior Manager across all basics categories.
This hybrid role will have 25% of time on management of Kids UW business and 75% time on analytics support for the Senior Manager across all basics categories.
This position is part of the Amazon account management team and serves as a feeder position for future management roles.
The position is accountable for sales support activities for the Amazon business.
The incumbent must work across multiple functions including Product Marketing and Merchandising, Creative Services as well as Digital Merchandising and Digital Marketing.
This individual will be responsible for the analytics, tracking and tactical execution in supporting well thought-out sales and marketing strategies across a complex platform of categories delivering accelerated sales and profit growth.
Support Senior Manager in managing the online assortment with focus on evaluating and optimizing offerings to drive sales and profitability.
Support business relationships to drive business on Amazon.
The individual must be able to:
Identify, compile and filter data from various sources internally and externally Evaluate the data to form conclusions Execute mutually agreed upon strategy Display ability to execute short term and long-term projects driven to managing results.
Key focus on product portfolio management, including new product concepts, SKU rationalization and style discontinuations.
Manages online listing accuracy including best-in-class digital content (features, benefits, photography) Manage online assortment ensuring positive in-stock levels and accurate product listings while identifying key business opportunities.
Must quickly develop an understanding of Amazon processes, systems, strategies and financial metrics to drive incremental business growth.
Management of the trade budget plans to effectively deliver growth and profit.
Bachelors degree preferred or 5-7 years experience in lieu of degree; MBA a plus.

Keen attention to detail is a must.
Computer skills, including a high-level proficiency in the digital space, Excel, Word and Power Point is mandatory.
Must possess strong quantitative and analytical skills with exceptional reporting capabilities.
Ability to gain proficiency in new digital techniques is mandatory.
Previous experience in brand marketing, analytics, project management, media, ecommerce, consumer insights, or sales is highly preferred.
